Hackathon Prep: drill team

Hackathon dream team calling! Drill team for kids 13-18 preparping to attend hackathons.  We organize teams and prepare competitors, and join Hackathons as teams.  Please call to inquire.

Each drill team session last for two month, or four two-hour sessions.  There is a rolling enrollment for year round access and start.  The cost is $40/hour/student.

Participants pay for quarterly fees to maintain an active team membership and participation schedule. Teams participate in both online and in person Hackathons.

At the end of the class students will have 60% discounted rate for participating in Stembay Learning Center hosted hackathons.  The connections made in the class and group interactions will be useful for a long time to come.

1. Basic coding in Python

2. Basic coding of a mobile platform (Apple iPhone or Android)

3. Business case presentation

4. Identification of solutions and problems
