STEM to CEO path with STEM Education

STEM education does not have to be limited for engineer career. An engineer could just be a foundation position to later become CEO and owner.

Is a STEM education still important in the era of AI and generative AI capabilities, including code generation?

The answer is YES. STEM is a way to condition a human mind to analytical thinking. If you think each brain of a student contains a LLM, then STEM education is the way to condition an individual to think logically and confidently.

Contrary to some belief, a STEM degree does not have to end up being an engineer or coder. A degree in EE, ME, or CS is merely a path for a brilliant student to become a player in a company, an industry, and the society in general. From there, the individual can still do marketing, sales, strategy consulting, and management.

A company is typically structured like the diagram below. Very few people get to the top to have situation awareness and decision making power. Most engineers end up being engineers for life. They never become CEO, founder, or directors of companies - the shakers and movers.
